Memory & legacy
What you choose to remember, kept with care.

A time capsule, not a resurrection
QLumis is built to preserve what someone chose to share: their stories, their voice, their love. It is not designed to claim that a companion is the person it remembers, and it should never pretend otherwise.
What can become part of a memory?
Almost anything that makes a person feel known:
- Stories and life events
- Photos, letters, and recipes
- Favorite sayings and familiar phrases
- Important dates and milestones
- Family relationships, names, and places
- Routines and traditions
- Voice notes and a voice profile, with consent or authority*
- Values and personal reflections
Why now?
Some memories can only be captured while someone is still able to tell the story in their own words. A familiar phrase, the way a story is told, the warmth in a voice — these are the things that fade first and matter most.
For future loved ones
Children and grandchildren you may never meet can still hear a familiar voice tell a familiar story. QLumis is designed for that kind of continuity — carefully, and on your terms.
What QLumis should not do
- It should not pretend to literally be a person who has died.
- It should not replace grief, therapy, caregivers, or family.
- It should not use unauthorized voices or likenesses.
- It should not be relied on for emergencies.
Always under consent
You decide what is preserved, who can hear it, and when. You can update or delete memory, voice, and likeness data from inside the app at any time, subject to the platform’s privacy and retention policies.
*Voice and likeness profiles beyond your own require consent, authorization, or appropriate legal authority. QLumis is not designed for impersonation; a companion using an approved voice or likeness identifies itself as QLumis.
