From first hello to lifelong companion.

1. Create an account

Sign up at app.qlumis.com. Accounts are for adults; you can enable trusted contacts later if a loved one will participate.

2. Choose a companion

Decide who the companion is for: yourself (self-legacy), someone you love (companion or caregiver-surrogate), or a presence to be shared with family.

3. Add memories

Add the stories, people, places, routines, and life events that matter — for example:

• Mom’s favorite song
• Dad’s stories from medical school
• How Grandma made Sunday dinner
• The names of the grandchildren
• Morning and evening routines
• Important family dates
• Favorite phrases and the places that mattered

QLumis does not need to load every memory into every conversation. It is designed to retrieve the relevant memory context when it is useful, so conversations stay natural.

4. Choose a voice

Use your own voice, an approved family member’s voice, or a stock voice profile. Voice profiles beyond your own require consent, authorization, or appropriate legal authority.^*

5. Set consent

Consent gates control who can use which voice or likeness and what information the companion can recall. You stay in control inside the app.

6. Talk by text or voice

Chat in the browser today on a laptop, tablet, or phone. Add reminders, ask for stories, or simply have a familiar conversation.

7. Vision & avatar (optional)

Visual presence and avatar features are available as optional add-ons inside the app, gated by consent and your billing plan.

*Voice and likeness profiles beyond your own require consent, authorization, or appropriate legal authority. QLumis is not designed for impersonation; a companion using an approved voice or likeness identifies itself as QLumis.
