Caregiving

A familiar voice. Quiet support. Real continuity.

If you’re caring for an aging parent, a spouse, or a family member, QLumis can offer a familiar voice, gentle reminders, conversation, and continuity — on hardware they already have at home. It supports the care you give; it does not replace it.

What QLumis can do for caregivers

  • Speak in a familiar, approved voice
  • Carry routines and gentle reminders
  • Surface trusted contacts when asked
  • Remember stories, preferences, and life context
  • Provide continuity from one conversation to the next

What this looks like day to day

  • Mom forgets that you called this morning — QLumis can gently reflect the day’s familiar context.
  • Dad asks the same question every evening — a calm, consistent answer in a familiar voice.
  • A spouse needs familiar reassurance when you’re away — conversation and comfort that sound like home.
  • A caregiver wants one place to hold routines, preferences, family names, and daily context.

Where it lives

QLumis runs in the browser today. A laptop on a desk, a tablet on a bedside table, or a phone propped safely nearby is enough to begin. No special hardware is required.

What QLumis is not

QLumis is not an emergency service, not a medical device, and not a replacement for caregivers or clinicians. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor health conditions, and it does not call emergency services. It does not replace human supervision, emergency systems, medical evaluation, or professional caregiving. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services.

Working alongside care teams

QLumis is designed to support, not replace, the people who provide care. Families and clinicians remain the source of truth for health decisions; QLumis carries continuity in between visits.
